Thanks for stopping by. I just love company, and like most authors I enjoy talking - especially about my writing and speaking! Pull up a chair and get comfortable. Let s sip on café mochas with lots of whipped cream while we chat. Forget the calories  we re in cyberspace, remember! <br> <br> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img src="Bonnie%20Pic.jpg" alt="Bonnie Pic" align="right" hspace="12" vspace="7" width="133" height="152"> I have always admired authors and speakers, but never dreamed God would someday call me to be one. Now I realize He was preparing me for this purpose all my life. Why else did I preach to the cows and line up my dolls for a Sunday school lesson at the age of five? Why else did the common threads of writing and speaking run through nearly every position I held? Why else did He create in me a deep desire to minister to others? Why else did He give me a supportive husband who makes a perfect  Mr. Farmer&quot; in our presentations? And, why else did He provide the catalyst for my first book (read prologue of book I) and then open the doors, one after another, for me to serve Him as an author and speaker? <em>&quot;It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.&quot;</em> &nbsp;Jeremiah 29:11<br> <br> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; My husband, Ken, and I live in St Petersburg, Florida near our two children and seven grandchildren. However, during our childhoods we both lived on farms in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. (My books are based on my real life experiences while growing up there in the fifties.) After many years of serving God in various lay ministries, He has called us to serve Him by traveling throughout the country promoting my books and presenting entertaining programs for children. Several years ago I also began speaking to adults on two subjects very dear to me -  Enjoying Your Children and  <em>Great</em> Grand Parenting. Oh, yes, and I'm busy writing the final book of my eight-book &quot;Little Farm&quot; series.<br> <br> <img src="FWA%20Award.jpg" alt="FWA Award" align="left" hspace="12" width="185" height="237"> <img src="Publisher's%20Award.jpg" alt="Publisher's Award" align="right" hspace="10" width="211" height="172"> Now that you know me better, may I take a moment to brag just a little. As a fairly new author, I'm very proud of my two hard-earned awards. Before publication, my first &quot;Little Farm Down the Lane&quot; book won the Florida Writers Association Inc.'s <strong>Best Unpublished Children's Book Award.</strong> Four years ago my publisher, Xulon Press, awarded me the Best New Christian Author Award.</strong> <br> <br> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oh my, I ve done all the talking. When I m passionate about something I do ramble on - how rude of me! I m sure you came to visit for a purpose and I haven t given you a chance to get a word in edgewise.
