Although my "Little Farm" books are
written for children and I do many presentations for schools and children's
groups, I also love to speak to adults, especially parents and grandparents.
Why? Because, as the family in my series portrays, life can be hard and one of
its simplest pleasures is the time spent with our families. But often parents
take the job of raising their children so seriously, they miss out on this
wonderful gift from God. After years of experience working with children’s
groups, foster children, the mentally challenged, and my own children and
grandchildren, God has shown me how important it is to relax and enjoy our
children. This is the message of hope I bring to struggling parents and
grandparents.
